The Baby room

The Baby Room caters for six babies at any one time. It has its own play room, sleep room, and patio area.

Our qualified and experienced staff are dedicated to the development of the babies in their care and provide unique experiences according to each child's individual needs. We aim to follow your child's own feeding and sleep routines so that, from an early age, a relationship of confidence and trust is formed with us and your baby.

TWEENIE ROOM

The Tweenie Room caters for up to 15 children and is manned by four members of staff.

There is a large play room with areas for sand and water, a book corner, home corner and areas for table-top activities, floor games, and construction. Adjacent to the room are the toilet and nappy changing facilities, and a separate sleep room.

It is likely that, while your child is in this room, toilet training will begin. We aim to follow your child's own home routines in this matter.

School room

The SCHOOL room

The School Room caters for children from the ages of three to five years.

It is well-resourced and is manned by three members of staff; one of whom is a qualified Early Years Teacher. A variety of teaching methods have been adopted to cater for each child's individual needs. There are opportunities for children to engage in activities planned by adults and those that they plan or initiate themselves.

The children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and plan and make decisions for themselves; thus enabling them to learn, develop, and make good progress.

Forest school

Forest School provides the opportunity to bring learning to life, allowing children to explore and learn in a constructive way.

It increases self-confidence, self-esteem, improves their ability to work cooperatively, and counters a lack of motivation and negative attitude to learning while offering the opportunities to take managed risks, make choices, and initiate learning themselves.

We have purchased our own outdoor clothing for the children but we do ask that you provide wellingtons.
